UTMy visits schools in Singapore

2026.05.13

From 24 to 25 April 2026, Prof. Dr. Nishimura Ken visited Singapore to introduce UTMy to students across several schools.

During the visit to the ISS International School, one of our students, Yoshida Ryusei which is an alumnus of the school has served as the host for the presentation, creating a warm and engaging atmosphere for the session.

As part of the programme, Nishimura-sensei presented an overview of UTMy, highlighting the unique features of our programmes and academic approach. He also shared insights into the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) projects undertaken by our students, showcasing innovative systems such as waste sorting system, water purification system, and noise analysis system. To provide a more immersive experience, he conducted a mock class, giving students a glimpse into the UTMy learning environment.

Over the two-day visit, Nishimura-sensei also visited Waseda Shibuya Senior High School in Singapore and Waseda Academy International Branch, allowing us to reach more students.
