Strengthening Malaysia–Japan Educational Exchange through JCAP

2026.07.27

Last week, University of Tsukuba, Malaysia (UTMy) had the pleasure of welcoming Dr. Aini Neesa' from the Ministry of Education Malaysia and Ms. Farahida from the Public Service Department of Malaysia as part of the Japan Career Advancement Program (JCAP).

JCAP is a professional development initiative that aims to strengthen leadership and foster knowledge exchange between Malaysia and Japan through institutional visits, educational engagement, and cross-cultural learning experiences.

During their stay at UTMy, Dr. Aini Neesa' and Ms. Farahida participated in a range of academic and cultural activities, including Kendo classes, information exchange sessions on the education systems of Malaysia and Japan, and engagements with visiting high school students, where they introduced UTMy and shared insights into our transdisciplinary education.

Their visit provided a valuable opportunity to exchange perspectives, build meaningful connections, and reinforce the strong educational partnership between Malaysia and Japan.

As they continue their JCAP journey at the University of Tsukuba's main campus in Japan, we wish Dr. Aini Neesa' and Ms. Farahida every success in the next stage of the program. We hope the experiences and relationships formed throughout JCAP will contribute to an even brighter future for educational collaboration between Malaysia and Japan.
