High School Students from Tokyo Visit UTMy

UTMy was honoured to welcome a delegation from the Tokyo Metropolitan Board of Education last week. The delegation comprised 28 senior high school students from 7 different Tokyo Metropolitan high schools, accompanied by their teachers.

During their visit, the students observed the Multi-Purpose Room on Level 6, where physical education classes such as Judo and Dance are conducted. Following the observation, Professor Dr. Iwane Suzuki and Professor Dr. Noriko Hiraishi gave an information session introducing UTMy and its educational opportunities in Malaysia.

The students actively participated in the Q&A session, with many raising their hands and asking thoughtful questions about studying at a Japanese university in Malaysia, student life, and the learning environment at UTMy.

We hope that this visit provided the students with a clearer picture of what it is like to study in Malaysia at a Japanese university and encouraged them to consider international education as part of their future academic journey. We also look forward to welcoming students from this delegation to UTMy in the future.
