As the first Japanese university to establish a branch campus in Malaysia, we are committed to providing a Japanese-type higher education along with its traditions and contemporary practices through a cross-disciplinary curriculum based on Problem-Based Learning that reflects the academic standards and requirements of the home campus while embracing the uniqueness of its position as a Japanese/Malaysian initiative.
Objectives
As an educational hub in Asia, the programme aims to develop human resources who can effectively contribute to solving global issues faced by Malaysia and around the world by making full use of data science, whilst cultivating ideas and skills in the natural sciences, humanities, and social sciences. The programme also aims to be a leader in promoting activities for global-scale issues through collaboration with transnational companies, universities, and educational institutions in Malaysia, Japan, and abroad.
