UTMy's Chief Executive, Professor. Dr. Toshiyuki INAGAKI visited Perodua headquarters on 7th August. His presentation, titled "Some Research Issues on Partial Driving Automation and Conditional Driving Automation,”was attended by Perodua President and CEO Dato' Sri Zainal Abidin Ahmad and Senior Director Datuk Kazuyoshi Nagata. They were impressed by his presentation, which was quite favourably received.

Professor Dr. Maki TSUJIMURA also introduced and explained UTMy's educational program based on PBL (problem-based learning). President and CEO Dato' Sri Zainal Abidin Ahmad promised to support UTMy, saying,“PBL is good compared to traditional education in Malaysia. Good outcomes will come to UTMy in the future, and we pray for your success."
