University of Tsukuba, Malaysia

On 24 October 2024, a significant partnership was established between University of Tsukuba, Malaysia (UTMy) and MUFG BANK (MALAYSIA) BERHAD (MUFG) with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This collaboration marks a progressive step towards enhancing collaborative opportunities between the two esteemed organisations.

The MoU was signed by Dr. Toshiyuki Inagaki, Chief Executive of UTMy, and Mr. Motohide Okuda, Chief Executive Officer and Country Head of Malaysia of MUFG, witnessed by Professor Dr. Maki Tsujimura, Dean of School of Transdisciplinary Science and Design of UTMy, and Mr. Seiichiro Akita, Member of the Board of Directors, Deputy President of MUFG Bank, Ltd. 

The agreement aims to foster joint initiatives that will benefit educational activities at UTMy, and the broader relationships for both UTMy and MUFG.
