Last Saturday, thirteen students aged 10 to 15 learned about regenerative medicine and observed iPS cells on their own slide under a microscope.

They also discovered why iPS cell technology won a Nobel Prize during a fun and informative session with one of our lecturers, Prof. Nishimura. He is currently researching how to create high-quality iPS cells and turn them into several types of tissue cells using his unique gene transfer system.
